Feel is a reproduction of an original painting, and forms part of 'The Illusion of Separation' triptych, a series of pieces celebrating the interconnectedness of all things. This piece is inspired by time I've spent in Dartmoor, Devon, especially in autumn (mushroom season!) and especially by river swims surrounded by forest. Living on the Cornish coast, I usually swim in the sea, but I find there's something particularly magical (at least for this forest loving personality type) about being in the water surrounded by trees. It's a different experience that I can't put words to. Maybe that's why I decided to paint about it instead :)
