Out gathering edible wild violets in the woods one day, and watching hoverflies and various other pollinators hum amongst them was part of the inspiration for this painting. The title comes from a quote I love by Alan Watts: “Where do I begin and end in space? I have relations to the sun and air which are just as vital parts of my existence as my heart.” ⁣⁣⁣
