For me this piece reflects an overwhelming time-stopping sense of awe at suddenly noticing that this, i.e. life, is happening. To have the sudden realisation that you are immersed in a total unexplainable mystery, and in fact that you are this mystery. Essentially realising that the ordinary is so extraordinary you are actually lost for words. With the vivid colours of the sea, sky and earth lit up by the sun, as well as the dark of the cosmos, I wanted to also reflect the beauty of our home planet Earth and this infinite Universe.⁣
